LEIGH LOTOCKI

Leigh Lotocki is a freelance producer, marketer, and dance artist currently based in Queens, NY. Leigh's background includes dance/theatre performance, choreography, and production, as well as video and sculpture.

DANCE // Leigh’s work in dance has recently been centered in the performance-party series MERDE, alongside collaborator Robin Ediger-Seto. She has performed in works by Annie Kloppenberg, Bebe Miller, Douglas Gillespie, Jillian Peña, and Peter Kyle, and more. While based in Columbus, Ohio, Leigh created commissioned works for Available Light Theatre, IM Creative, and the Department of Philosophy at The Ohio State University. In 2014 she received the Ohio Arts Council’s Individual Excellence Award for Choreography. In New York, she has presented her work at CPR - Center for Performance Research. 

PRODUCTION // Leigh’s work in stage and company management has supported productions ranging from dance, theatre, and fashion, to Off-Broadway, comedy, and music videos. Highlights include THEM (Cochrane, Cooper, and Houston-Jones) and the 2019 Gala at Performance Space New York, and Hannah Gadsby’s Nanette (produced by WestBeth Entertainment).

SCULPTURE // From 2013-2019, as part of a sculpture apprenticeship with Ohio- and Mexico-based bronze casting artist Bruce Hanners, Leigh contributed as a fabricator, project manager and movement director of several large-scale puppetry works for city festivals. She continues her work in sculpture as a ceramicist out of New York City.
